Arngunnur Árnadóttir is a musician and writer.
After finishing her studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin she was appointed as principal clarinetist of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 2012.
Arngunnur’s first book, Unglingar, was published in March 2013. Her first novel, Að heiman, was awarded the Grassroots Grant of the Icelandic Literature Center in 2015 and published in 2016. In 2018 her second book of poetry Ský til að gleyma, was published.
